MDI of Abilene uses a Hitachi High-Field Open MRI scanner, which is one of the most advanced systems available today. This lets us provide your doctor with some of the most detailed and clear images available with MRI scans. Through service upgrades and maintenance our scanner is mantained and up-to-date with all of the lastest technologies. Our Open-MRI scanner is choice when dealing with claustrophobic or larger patients, we can accomodate up to 450 pound patients in our scanner. The Open scanner doesn't require your shoulders to be squished or to be place above your head. We take pride in making sure you are as comfortable as possible during your scan.
